Piecing Together the Differentiation Puzzle - Classroom Instruction & Assessment
In a differentiated classroom, the teacher proactively plans and carries out varied approaches to content, process and product in anticipation of and response to student differences in readiness, interest, and learning needs.

Dear Students,
There will be times when...
We all do the same thing
Some do different things
We all work together
You work alone
You choose for yourself
I choose for you
-Mrs. Torres
All students may not be working on the same assignment but all students will be challenged by what they are working on. My job as your teacher is to make sure you are all learning, not necessarily doing the same thing.
Fundamental to educational success for ALL learners:
Knowing exactly where you want students to end up as a result of your lesson
Remembering you cannot reach the mind of a student you do not engage
Setting the goal for each student as a challenge for substantial individual growth
How Will Students React?
